When we walked the land and experienced the beauty it provides, we realized we had an opportunity to share this with our community. The Clayton County Water Authority is dedicating this land to the Huie Foundation to provide visitors a new way to experience the beauty of nature through playing and learning.

The increase in visitors combined with the Chamber’s Small Business efforts is expected to increase business opportunities. This area of Clayton County is ripe for this economic expansion.

We have developed a plan that allows visitors to experience the outdoors and see wildlife like deer, turkey and ducks and experience this on property so close to downtown Atlanta while also learning about the water cycle.
